Barquero JF IV's sire, Escogido J F, finished fourth in the 4-year-old dressage section at the European Championships. Voluntario XIV, a 1.70m black stallion with spectacular movements, has been selected to go to the Olympic Games in Atlanta to represent the Spanish dressage team. His mother, Barquera XVIII, winner of the SICAB (World Championship) in model and gait.

In his maternal lines, we find Obcecado, stud of the Yeguada Militar used by the Yeguada Escalera, who is no longer presented in the breed.

She is a daughter of "Sevillano JF I" Champion Dressage stallion, and "Voluntaria VIII", a daughter of Ocle, a breeder born in Yeguada Militar, who is no longer presented in the breed. Voluntaria VIII is none other than the dam of Voluntario XIV, a 1.70m black stallion with spectacular movements, has been selected to go to the Olympic Games in Atlanta to represent the Spanish dressage team.

Barquero JF IV

We wanted to dedicate a post to our first PRE stallion, sire of the first offspring of our Purebred Spanish horse breeding: Barquero JF IV.

This marvelous stallion left to represent the Purebred Spanish horse in the Emirates, we would like to thank his owner for his trust. In 2024 his foals will be born from our PRE mares and also from outside mares, we would also like to thank the owners of the outside mares for the trust placed in Barquero.
