❄️ Winter ❄️ has arrived.

The incessant rain for more than two months has caused numerous disasters in France. Fortunately for our equines, our facilities were not flooded and everyone is safe.

It is time for our broodmares to take up their winter quarters while waiting for next spring.

Our 2023 foals all joined their families in the fall.

Our last available filly Manzanilla VMD, has been reserved and will join her family within a few days.

The 2024 foals have not yet been born, our breeding projects are being refined day by day for the next breeding season, always with the same objective: to produce beautiful and good foals for selection as part of the improvement of the Purebred Spanish horse, and for the satisfaction of our customers.

We are taking advantage of this winter rest to thank our many customers for their confidence in our breeding program, we wish you all a happy holiday season.

🍂 Autumn 🍁 is settling in at the farm.

The time change, the gloomy weather, the brightness changes..

The weanings are over, now our broodmares can rest peacefully for several months, before welcoming the new foals next spring.

Our two young mares Macarena de Lucia & Etcetera Pi, recently confirmed for reproduction in the Stud Book of the breed, is preparing two marvels for us by Barquero JF IV, a purebred black Spanish stallion.

Autumn... and the first weanings

The month of October passes at breakneck speed, between the revisions of our fillies, the weaning of our 2023 foals, and the first departures..

Broodmares need a period of time to rest, recover from foaling and six months of good care for their charges, so in the fall, before the cold winter days arrive , we begin to wean the foals.In this way, the mares can rest among themselves, in peace, while waiting for winter and spring to see their new foals born.

The foals, during and after their weaning, benefit from a specialized diet to compensate for the cessation of mother's milk, always with grass and fodder at will. They receive their first vaccination, some are marked with the iron of breeding (without pain) and will soon leave to join their new families, we take advantage of this post to wish them a lot of happiness, this 2023 “vintage” will have particularly marked us by the kindness and ease of our foals.

Next year, ten foals are expected at the breeding ground, from the Dressage selection foal to the leisure foal, including the future Show horse.
